The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing consultation and administrative back up and guidance to assigned public and individual children and youth social service agencies as well every bit evaluating the services provided and analyzing data submitted by the agencies to ensure the implementation of departmental policy and to reinforce conformance of program administration and service with state standards, accepted good exercise standards and legal and federal requirements.

The incumbent in this position is besides responsible for evaluating and analyzing allegations of child corruption of children in out-of-dwelling house care, and for determining the status of those allegations and presenting recommendations for service delivery and negotiating the implementation of those recommendations with bureau directors, canton commissioners, governing boards and other advisable individuals. With the passage of Deed 33, the incumbent is also responsible for evaluating and analyzing the outcomes of investigations performed by Canton agencies into the circumstances of child fatalities and near fatalities that occur in the counties, to include recommendations for improvement in the county service delivery organization and monitoring implementation of the recommendations.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

i. Conducts on-site surveys and evaluations of public and individual children and youth agencies to evaluate the service provided and to provide help including ideas and techniques for the care of children to ensure that the agencies meet program goals.
2. Conducts evaluations and analyzes information nerveless regarding allegations of kid abuse of children in canonical public and individual agencies using professional person knowledge of protective service principles and accustomed models of casework practice to assure that children in out-of-home placement are protected.
iii. Conducts evaluations and program achievement reviews from both a professional person and administrative betoken of view to assure that program goals and objectives are being met and that federal, country and departmental requirement are being met.

8. Develops, recommends, and participates in the revision or development of policy relative to the Children, Youth, and Families' program and implements departmental policy to assure that plan goals are met.
9. Prepares reports on evaluations conducted which present data which take been analyzed and recommendations to agency directors, board chairpersons, and commissioners for improvements in the quality or efficiency of services being provided.
10. Prepares correspondence and other written and oral reports regarding the assigned public and individual agencies every bit needed.
11. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, Training & ELIGIBILITY:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Experience and Training Requirements - 3 years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's caste; ORan equivalent combination of experience and grooming.
