The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing consultation and administrative back up and guidance to assigned public and individual children and youth social service agencies as well every bit evaluating the services provided and analyzing data submitted by the agencies to ensure the implementation of departmental policy and to reinforce conformance of program administration and service with state standards, accepted good exercise standards and legal and federal requirements. The incumbent in this position is besides responsible for evaluating and analyzing allegations of child corruption of children in out-of-dwelling house care, and for determining the status of those allegations and presenting recommendations for service delivery and negotiating the implementation of those recommendations with bureau directors, canton commissioners, governing boards and other advisable individuals. With the passage of Deed 33, the incumbent is also responsible for evaluating and analyzing the outcomes of investigations performed by Canton agencies into the circumstances of child fatalities and near fatalities that occur in the counties, to include recommendations for improvement in the county service delivery organization and monitoring implementation of the recommendations.
